2010 "Elevation" Petite Sirah Howell Mountain

From the historic Park Muscatine vineyard, a four-acre site originally planted in the 1890s at 1,800 feet on Howell Mountain. More than fifteen years on, the massive tannins of its youth have softened into something layered and savory. Dried black cherry and plum mingle with leather, tobacco, forest floor, and a thread of iron, finishing long and earthy. A rare chance to taste mature mountain Petite Sirah at its peak.
